Our Fellowships
All three of the Generation OM Fellowship awards are based on numerous factors including but not limited to the applicant’s: college, academic performance, community involvement, application essays, and interview performance. Those granted the Fellowship will become Generation OM Youth Ambassadors and are required to take an active part in the Organization’s community events.

Generation OM Youth Ambassador Fellowship
Our original award, the Generation OM Youth Ambassador Fellowship Grant helps support undergraduate students at 4-year universities. Recipients can be awarded up to $1,000 annually and are active Generation Om members. Because of the level of community service and leadership expected of Ambassadors additional weight will now be given to those will attend Florida colleges. We anticipate that there will be two such "Approved" local volunteer projects every year. Recipients will also help create awareness and market the Generation OM Fellowship availability to the local high school student guidance & admission Counselors. Applicants and recipients must meet all guidelines listed on the eligibility page.
Community College & Vocation Training Fellowship
The brand new Community College & Vocation Training Fellowship helps students completing an AA Degree or a Vocational Training program. Applicants and recipients must meet all guidelines listed on the Requirements page.
Our upcoming Fellowship...
High School Seniors Fellowship - $250.00 Annual Grant
We are seeking motivated individuals who display the qualities for becoming role models for the Hindu community. Their participation in Generation Om approved local projects should provide them with the skills and knowledge they will need to be successful in obtaining our Youth Ambassador Fellowship post High School. It is anticipated that, at some stage in the future, this fellowship will be required to obtain the Community College & Vocational Training Fellowships or the Generation OM Youth Ambassador Fellowship. We anticipate to start this program in 2020. The requirements for the High School Fellowship are:
- A rising senior working towards a High School diploma in Central Florida.
- Expected to attend four "approved" local volunteer projects and attend Generation Om meetings.
Please note…
The numbers of annual fellowship awards are dependent on the amount of donations and grants received. The Board of Directors may, at its discretion, increase the base fellowship amounts based on stellar community involvement or financial need. The Board may also withhold payments if ambassadors fail to uphold the fellowship’s requirements.
