Initial Application Requirements
- Complete the Online Application and submit it by the required date.
- Students must either be American citizens, Green Card holders, or be in the process of obtaining such permanent residency.

Students must be based in Central Florida (and have lived here for at least 1 year). We define Central Florida as Orange, Osceola, and Seminole county.
- Students must be currently enrolled in a high school in the Central Florida area.

Students must be full-time students at a fully accredited college, university, or vocational training program within the U.S. for the upcoming academic year.

Two letters of recommendation from non-related people.
- A valid email and personal mobile phone number for all official communications.
- An interview with the Generation OM Grant Award Committee.

If Applicable…
- An official high school transcript and updated college transcript.
- Written evidence of volunteer work in addition to that required for Florida Bright Futures, or similar work to benefit the community.
- Mandatory attendance to their inaugural Annual Fellowship Awards Banquet.
Continuing Fellowship Requirements
Fellowship recipients must fulfill these requirements to receive the remaining parts of their fellowship annually.
- Students must maintain a 3.0 GPA and privide documentation annually

Students must demonstrate a commitment to the Generation Om mission statement and values by engaging in the following:
- 40 hours of approved volunteer work per academic year.
- Submit 2 articles annually for possible inclusion in the Generation Om newsletter.
- Participate in monthly online video conferencing with other Generation Om Youth Ambassadors.
- Participate in scheduled Ambassadors meetings and events – at least two annually.
- Ambassadors are required to attend the annual Fellowship Banquet. If needed one excused absence, due to university or internship conflict, will be granted during the fellowship period.
- Ambassadors continue to personally identify as a Hindu
- Run for an office for at least one term during your Fellowship.
